As creator and owner of Cottage in The Woods, Barbara Lutze is the visionary behind our team. For 33 years, Barbara was the beating heart of renowned German restaurant King Ludwigs in Maleny and has supported hundreds of couples through wonderful weddings and so many others through their special moments.

As the event coordinator, Enya's precision and dedication ensure that every logistical aspect of your moment is flawlessly executed. She orchestrates the seamless flow of your day, allowing you to focus on what truly matters - your love.

​Enya is also our bespoke jewellery specialist, where artistry meets individuality. At Maleny Jewellers, they pride themselves on crafting unique pieces that reflect your personal style and cherished memories.

Frankie from Flowers by Frankie is our creative stylist who will make your One Special Day exquisite & charming. As a qualified florist of 25 years, with a unique artistic flare, she creates all things beautiful for bespoke wedding flowers and styling.

Frankie is also a regular guest at Cottage in The Woods, having honeymooned there herself; she and her husband Dan visit every anniversary and whenever they need some R&R. Although she's travelled the world, this gem of a cottage is still one of her favourite places.
